  • DispatchHealth delivers healthcare to people with complicated health issues, helping them recover safely and comfortably at home while lowering medical costs.

  • Who are the DispatchHealth providers that come to me?

  • Two providers arrive at your home, including a physician assistant or nurse practitioner, and a DispatchHealth medical technician. An ER physician is always available by phone for consults.

  • What can DispatchHealth treat?

  • DispatchHealth can treat nearly every non-life-threatening medical condition that can be treated in an urgent care center or other health care facility. This includes a wide range of common to complex illnesses and injuries, such as urinary tract infection (UTI), respiratory infections, fall injuries, flu, migraines, dehydration, stitches and more.

  • Is DispatchHealth meant to replace my doctor?

  • No. DispatchHealth is a complement to your physician and home health care. Our goal is to help integrate our care with that of your current caregivers. Primary care providers can be extraordinarily busy. DispatchHealth can act as the “eyes and ears” on the ground for your physician when they are unable to see you, and you require immediate care.

  • What insurance does DispatchHealth accept?

  • DispatchHealth is in-network with most insurance plans. Following care, we will call in prescriptions, update your doctors and handle billing with your insurance company. For questions about insurance visit our Cost & Insurance page.

  • How do I pay for DispatchHealth services?

  • In many cases, DispatchHealth will bill your insurance company. You may contact our billing department if you have any questions regarding your bill. If you do not have insurance or we are not contracted with your insurance company, DispatchHealth can accept payment at the time of treatment via credit card. Medical billing can be confusing and we will help you work through the process.

  • How much does a DispatchHealth visit cost?

  • A visit with DispatchHealth costs roughly the same as a walk-in urgent care visit. On average, most patients pay anywhere from $5 – $50 after insurance. The percentage of the total bill you’re responsible for is determined by your insurance plan. Note that if you have a high deductible plan, you will need to meet your deductible before your insurance will cover the cost.

  • What if I don’t have insurance?

  • If you do not have or we are not contracted with your insurance company, DispatchHealth accepts payment of a flat rate of $275 at the time of treatment via credit card. This flat rate is for everything that we do, which includes medications administered, procedures performed, and on-site lab tests obtained. At times, third-party service providers may be recommended including imaging, labs, prescriptions or other healthcare services. In these instances, the patient will be billed separately by those services. Payment methods include credit, debit, health savings account (HSA), health reimbursement account (HRA) and flexible spending account account (FSA) payments.

  • How do I book an appointment?

  • Booking an appointment with us is easy! Simply give us a call, download and use our mobile app or visit staging.dispatchhealth.com.

  • How long does it take for DispatchHealth’s medical team to arrive at my home?

  • After contacting our team, it typically takes about two hours for a response team to come to your location for your scheduled visit. When you call to schedule a visit, you will be given an accurate arrival time.
